Senior Data Engineer (Analytics & Cloud)

Job Summary
Design, build and maintain scalable, cloud-native data platforms and pipelines for structured and unstructured data; develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud-native services; work with analytics, product, engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, high-value data solutions; provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure engineering standards and quality; leverage AWS technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue or equivalent) to support data analysis and ad-hoc insights; explore and implement modern data, automation and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, data quality and decision-making; take ownership of data solutions throughout their lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics
- Proven experience designing and delivering data engineering solutions in AWS
- Strong SQL expertise and programming skills (Python / PySpark preferred)
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, distributed processing and modern data architecture patterns
- Experience in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
