Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst role overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of data analysis projects for the RevolutionParts data platform. Design and implement complex analytical models that translate large-scale eCommerce datasets into actionable business outcomes. Act as a high-level individual contributor collaborating directly with business leaders to influence the strategic direction of data products. Responsibilities include lifecycle management from requirements gathering to stakeholder delivery, advanced SQL-based modeling and Python/R algorithms, automated data validation for the data warehouse, building sophisticated interactive Looker dashboards, and providing subject-matter guidance on SQL optimization and data strategy to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years specifically within an eCommerce or Fintech platform environment.
- Technical Stack: SQL Mastery (window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
- Modeling: Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for modular data modeling.
- Languages: Python or R for statistical analysis.
- BI: Hands-on experience developing in Looker (LookML is a plus).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of merchant performance metrics (GMV, Take Rate, Churn, CLV).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, Data Analytics, Economics, or Math).
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MS/MBA); experience in digital marketing analytics or A/B testing methodologies; comfortable with command-line tools and Git-based workflows.
