Job Summary
Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL, Airflow, AWS Glue, and Redshift on the AWS data platform. Develop batch and near real-time data solutions to support operational and analytical needs while implementing monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes. Champion engineering best practice, code quality, automation, and documentation by collaborating with Architecture, Analytics, and Platform teams to deliver data solutions that support data governance, security, and compliance requirements. Mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment focused on a largescale transformation journey.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda)
- Advanced SQL and Python skills
- Experience designing and supporting data pipelines and ETL frameworks
- Knowledge of Airflow, Spark and modern data engineering practices
- Strong understanding of data modelling, warehousing and performance optimisation
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD and Agile delivery methods

- Experience in a regulated environment
- Lottery, gaming or financial services experience
