Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business operations. This role will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for decision-making. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple sources; optimizing SQL queries and transformations; building data models and structures for analytics and reporting; ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency; data ingestion from APIs, databases, and third-party systems; collaborating with Business Analysts and Data Modelers to translate requirements into technical solutions; supporting data warehousing and data lake solutions; monitoring and troubleshooting data workflows and performance; maintaining documentation; participating in Agile ceremonies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data development or data engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, dbt, or similar)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.)
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Preferred Qualifications: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP – e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery); API integrations and data ingestion frameworks; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau); Healthcare domain; HL7/FHIR
