Senior Data Consultant (Python, GCP, Airflow)

Job Summary
Senior Data Consultant will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on Google Cloud Platform, develop data processing logic using Python (and tools like DBT or Spark), create and manage Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration, work with BigQuery and Cloud SQL for storage and transformation, ensure data quality and reliability, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions. The role involves participating in code reviews, maintaining documentation, and contributing to data standards while supporting deployment and monitoring of pipelines in GCP environments. The candidate should have strong Python skills, GCP experience (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine or GKE), Airflow expertise, ETL/data integration experience, Spark proficiency, NoSQL and relational database knowledge, an understanding of data architecture and data quality, and be open to working 2 days per week from the client’s Kraków office.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend or data processing
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine or GKE
- Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Strong experience with ETL and data integration pipelines
- Experience with Spark
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of relational databases
- Strong understanding of data architecture
- Good understanding of data quality
- Strong understanding of data integration
- Openness to work 2 days a week from our client's office (Kraków)
