Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operational support, including equipment installation, cabling, and facility rounds in high-density, mission-critical environments. Oversee preventative maintenance cycles, manage incident escalations, and act as the decision-maker during high-pressure situations. Operate and optimize Building Management Systems, CMMS, and ticketing tools to improve reliability while mentoring junior staff and ensuring strict SOP adherence. Interface with strategic customers for remote hands support and service recovery, partnering with facilities and engineering teams to align on operational needs. Maintain accurate logs for compliance and audits, supporting capacity planning for new deployments. This role blends hands-on technical work with leadership in a rapidly expanding national footprint serving F500 enterprises and startups.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of data center or mission-critical facility operations experience
- Strong focus on hands-on field work
- Proven expertise with power, cooling, and IT infrastructure systems in high-density environments
- Hands-on experience with BMS, CMMS, ticketing, and monitoring tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident resolution and high-pressure operational decisions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior technicians
