Job Summary
Senior Data Center Infrastructure Specialist responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data center infrastructure solutions. You will interact with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and deploy data center projects, including datacenter planning (floor plans, rack elevations, cable deployment, and Point-to-Point design) and ensuring connectivity requirements and timing meet standards. You will deploy and support NVIDIA products, update related work instructions, and contribute to Data Center Standards updates while balancing multiple priorities. Strong emphasis on collaboration, documentation of processes, and on-site coordination, with travel ~30%.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a data center infrastructure engineer, field service engineer or similar with background in designing and implementing data center infrastructures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment
- Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast and highly dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in documenting processes
- Willingness to travel, around 30%
- Network certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos)
- Knowledge with InfiniBand Technology
