Job Summary
Senior Data Center Fiber Deployment Lead to oversee data center construction projects for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, coordinating with colocation providers, selecting and managing external vendors and contractors, overseeing design reviews, commissioning plans, quality control processes, site walks, and startup activities. Responsible for risk identification and mitigation, ensuring work aligns with project requirements, and facilitating installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems. On-site role at Oracle’s Abilene, TX data center with relocation packages available. Key skills include vendor management, contract compliance, project documentation, and technical problem-solving in data center infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in data center construction or fiber deployment
- Experience managing vendors/colocation providers
- Ability to lead startup and commissioning phases
