Job Summary
Design, develop, and optimize scalable data architectures and pipelines aligned with ELT/ETL principles to drive business-aligned insights. Solve complex data challenges by creating data products that enhance analytics and data science productivity while evaluating and deploying emerging data engineering tools. Mentor teams on data standards to foster collaboration, efficiency, and reusability in analytical solutions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and PHI standards. This role supports the mission of creating affordable, life-changing medications through data-driven pharmaceutical care, requiring proficiency in Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and Python or Scala.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data architect in analytical and data sciences environments
- 5 years in data engineering or architectural roles
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 15 years of experience
- Extensive expertise in Structured Query Language
- Extensive expertise in Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Extensive expertise in ELT/ETL
- Extensive expertise in data governance
- Experience in programming languages (Python or Scala)
- Experience with database technologies such as Snowflake
- Experience with BigQuery
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices
- Ability to move about the office and around the corporate campus
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
