Job Summary
Design and maintain the enterprise data warehouse architecture, including data models, schemas, and integration patterns for clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory data. Develop standards for data modeling and naming conventions while evaluating existing structures to enhance performance and scalability. Lead troubleshooting of complex data issues, root-cause analysis, and ETL/ELT optimization across source systems such as EMR/PM and finance platforms. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security policies, and regulatory requirements through governance enforcement and audit support. Serve as a technical mentor to BI staff and translate business reporting needs into technical requirements. Collaborate with clinical, operations, and finance teams to support decision-making and required reporting for federal and state agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5)+ years' experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or advanced analytics roles
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse technologies (e.g., SQL Server and related platforms)
- Advanced understanding of data modeling concepts and reporting structures
- Experience working with healthcare data and EMR/PM source systems
- Proficiency with SQL
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated environment
- Experience working in an FQHC or community health center environment
- Familiarity with UDS reporting, clinical quality measures, and population health analytics
- Experience with cloud‐based data platforms and modern analytics architectures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a health care setting
