Job Summary
Senior Data Architect responsible for developing and implementing an organizational data strategy, including data architecture, data management standards, and the design and management of data warehouses and analytics systems. You will architect and optimize data pipelines, compute workflows, and storage solutions across data assets, and deliver integrated data solutions to drive analytics in R&D, TechOps, and manufacturing. You will design data transfer, storage, and optimization solutions using public cloud technologies (AWS), create reference diagrams and documentation, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Bioinformatics, and functional groups to align business and technical requirements. Telecommuting is permitted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field; 5+ years of engineering experience; strong data and analytics skills
- Expertise with AWS and Azure cloud technology
- Experience in biotech industry
