Job Summary
Design, implement, and evolve enterprise data solutions across multiple systems, while partnering with business and functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals. Drive data governance standards to ensure accuracy, lineage, and consistency, and create architecture documentation, data dictionaries, and modeling guidelines. Define best practices for data movement and transformation with ETL and DBA teams, and develop the roadmap for Master Data Management including tool evaluation and rollout. Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. This 12-18 month contract role is based in Dallas, Texas (hybrid), requiring a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in data architecture, ETL, and MDM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing data architecture across OLTP, Data Warehousing, and Big Data environments
- Strong background in Solution Architecture, Data Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM)
- Hands-on expertise with ETL, data integration, APIs, OLAP, and best practices for data movement and processing
- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and translating business requirements into effective data structures
- Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly communicating data strategy, architecture, and design decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the confidence to mentor others
- Location: Dallas, Texas (hybrid - onsite 3-4 days/week)
