Job Summary
Senior Data Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into actionable insights, build and maintain data pipelines and models, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, ensure data quality, and support reporting and analytics across Propelus' healthcare compliance platform. Key duties include ETL development, data modeling, ML model deployment collaboration, data quality monitoring, metadata management, stakeholder requirement translation, evaluating new data tools, code reviews, and independent task/project delivery. Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4+ years in data/analytics engineering, strong SQL and relational DB experience, cloud data warehousing knowledge, ETL tooling (Airflow/dbt), data modeling expertise, Python/Java proficiency, Git, and strong communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data warehousing services (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Experience with ETL tools and techniques (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt)
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architecture
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java)
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration on codebase
