Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst in Toronto responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify opportunities, form actionable recommendations, and test insights; develop dashboards and analytics pipelines; quantify ROI of initiatives; and present findings to the Canadian leadership team to drive profitability and growth across supply, demand, and conversion in the marketplace. Collaborates with product, data science, and operations, communicates metrics to business leaders, and builds scalable data solutions for diverse stakeholders; requires strong SQL skills, BI tooling (Tableau/DOMO), and the ability to turn data into compelling narratives.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of using analytics to drive strategic business decisions (product/data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or strategy consulting a strong plus)
- Strong quantitative skills
- Extensive experience with SQL
- Experience with BI & visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, DOMO) a plus
- Experience transforming data into presentations that tell the story behind the data
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate insights to leadership
- Ability to work independently and drive analysis forward with limited guidance
- Positive attitude, integrity, self-motivation, strong work ethic
