Job Summary
Own performance and projects by splitting time between task exploration, coding, and presenting compelling data to non-technical stakeholders. Discern critical insights from varied datasets and automate repetitive tasks to free capacity for high-impact initiatives. Build statistical models using SQL, Python, R, or SAS, while leveraging tools like BigQuery, DBT, and Stripe Sigma to drive decisions. This role sits within a four-person team covering all products, requiring ownership of commercial concepts in lending or payments. You will help shape the company's growth as we reinvent memberships and launch new AI solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in maths or science obtained from an accredited and certified institute
- Extremely comfortable building models in Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong experience in data extraction and manipulation using SQL
- Proficiency in building models using statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, or similar)
- Able to take ownership and manage projects to the end
- Fluent in English
- Organised, meticulous and great time management
- Able to communicate complex analysis to non-data savvy business users
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
- Able to grasp commercial concepts quickly and carry out analysis independently
- Flexibility is a must. We work in a fast-paced environment and we are growing very quickly. This means that you may be given additional responsibilities to help out other teams throughout the business.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with git, BigQuery, DBT, Stripe Sigma would all be valuable
- Experience in lending or payments would be prized
