Job Summary
Identify drivers behind merchant retention, churn, and software adoption by investigating root causes in complex data. Build trusted metrics, dashboards, and scalable reporting used by executives and cross-functional leaders to prioritize investments and measure initiative impact. Partner with Product, Customer Success, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to turn insights into action and automate workflows. Own analytics for SpotOn's merchant retention and SaaS business to influence strategy across the company. Work 3-4 days per week in our San Francisco office.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience working in cloud data warehouses
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with customer retention analyses
- Experience building dashboards and reporting in Power BI or similar BI tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate complex business questions
- Experience translating data into clear business recommendations
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Work authorization in the U.S.
- Ability to work 3-4x/week in the San Francisco office
