Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst, Performance & Analytics to drive data governance, validation, and the strategic use of data across the organization. Responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial, operational, and performance data used in reporting, forecasting, investor communications, and decision-making; lead data validation controls and reconciliation processes; develop and maintain data governance frameworks; collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Investor Relations, Valuation & Performance, and Investments teams; contribute to automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance data quality and streamline workflows; work with TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics), Power BI, SQL, and Python; support ad-hoc analyses and respond to investor inquiries; hybrid working arrangement with 4 days in-office per week in Montreal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- CPA, CFA, or relevant analytics/data certification considered an asset
- 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics, finance, performance reporting, or a related field
- Experience with TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics is a strong asset
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to translate business challenges into practical, data-driven solutions
