Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst will drive cross-functional marketing analytics initiatives, building and deploying Python-based workflows, scalable data pipelines, and production-grade datasets to support marketing strategy, website optimization, and campaign decisions. Responsibilities include designing and validating machine learning features, performing complex SQL data integration across marketing, CRM, and enrollment sources, deploying predictive models, building automated self-serve reporting, and optimizing data infrastructure for reliability and scale. Required skills include SQL, Python/R, data warehousing, Excel/visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), and experience with marketing analytics, AB testing, web analytics, and stakeholder collaboration. The role rewards strong analytical problem-solving, data governance, and the ability to operate in a virtual environment with up to 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other discipline with a significant statistics component
- Four (4) years’ related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years’ experience with SQL, transforming/manipulating data for reporting and analysis
- Three (3) years working with a large data warehouse
- 2 – 3 years’ experience with Excel for data exploration, visualization, and reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI/Tableau
- 1 year experience with Python, R or other programming languages
- 2 – 3 years’ corporate experience and be able to work with other team members
- Experience in marketing analytics, marketing measurement and business analytics (e.g., report generation, marketing campaign analysis, web analytics, AB testing, email performance, social media measurement, content testing, etc.)
- 2 years’ experience engaging with business stakeholders to gather requirements, present results, perform QA on results, manage backlogs and project status
- Strong Excel skills related to database/table functions
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
