Job Summary
Design and manage scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Data Factory, consolidating data from diverse legacy databases and third-party APIs into centralized warehouses. Leverage advanced SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, while developing automated data transformation processes in Python. Create and optimize data models and warehouse structures for efficient querying, continuously monitoring ETL performance and ensuring compliance with data security standards. Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to align infrastructure with organizational goals, communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Complete a full application including screening questions and a pre-employment test.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering
- Expertise in Azure data services, including Synapse and Data Factory
- Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data manipulation and analysis
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, ETL processes, and debugging
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening

- Previous experience in a senior or lead role
- Expertise with Power BI data models
