Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst, Labor Operations at Stord. Own the end-to-end analytics layer for the Labor Management System (LMS); translate operational needs of building GMs and area managers into data products including dashboards and metrics; write SQL, build dashboards, define metrics, and partner with product and engineering to ensure reliable LMS data feeds. Develop operator-facing dashboards (in-shift), weekly performance analyses, and a decomposition framework to separate productivity gains from brand mix and volume effects. Drive data quality, observability, and KPI definitions (OPH, UPH, UPO, labor utilization) and collaborate across Data, Product, and Operations to deliver actionable analytics for multi-site fulfillment networks. Must be a strong interface between data/analytics and operations, with hands-on analytics experience and a bias toward rapid, production-quality delivery. Environment uses GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Python, and BI tooling. US-based with HQ in Atlanta.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in operations analytics with direct exposure to fulfillment center, 3PL, or warehouse operations
- Fulfillment center or 3PL building experience is key
- Industrial engineering, operations research, or a quantitative supply chain background is a strong plus
- Strong SQL - comfortable querying raw operational data from an LMS, WMS, or equivalent without waiting for a pre-built dataset
- Visualization proficiency - Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent; can build a production-quality dashboard from scratch
- Analytical methodology depth - decomposition analyses, attribution frameworks, or waterfall analyses
- Operational fluency - OPH, UPH, UPO, and labor utilization
- Bias toward rapid delivery - prototype quickly and iterate
- AI First mentality
- Background in fulfillment operations analytics at a major 3PL or a large-format retailer
- Python for analysis (pandas, numpy)
- Familiarity with Labor Management Systems: Manhattan Active WM, Infor WFM, Kronos/UKG, Blue Yonder, or similar
- Analytics engineering exposure (dbt, lightweight transforms)
- Multi-site fulfillment network context
