Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst I – Survey Programming role at Nielsen focused on programming online surveys from questionnaires using Decipher, performing QA checks, data cleansing/merging, and creating cross-tabulation tables. Responsibilities include liaising with project managers and researchers to collect requirements, troubleshooting surveys in the field, reviewing data for inconsistencies, and ensuring client expectations are met. Required skills include Python, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, data analytics, strong communication, project management, and 4-6+ years of analytics/survey experience. Night and weekend shifts are part of the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6+ years experience in analytics and/or survey program
- Bachelor’s Degree/ B.Tech/BE in Computer Science/Engineering or any IT-related fields
- Programming experience in Python 2.7 (or other languages), XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS or strong problem-solving skills with ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work across diverse clients and industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Decipher and survey programming
- Quality assurance experience for survey programs
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams
