Job Summary
Independently deliver complex analytical activities using Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and related technologies to analyze large datasets and create advanced-level insights. Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to assess data quality, support data science algorithm validation, and formulate recommendations for product improvement. Prepare large-scale data to test hypotheses and refine data science models while maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams. Present project status updates and findings to technical and non-technical audiences through effective storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in business intelligence, data engineering, analytics, data analysis, or related discipline
- Strong SQL skills, including experience working with large and complex datasets
- Coding skills in at least one programming language, preferably Python
- Familiarity with common string manipulation functions or libraries, such as regular expressions (regex)
- Practical experience using Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Pandas, or similar distributed data-processing technologies
- Practical experience analysing, transforming, and validating structured or tabular data using tools or libraries such as Pandas, PySpark, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Experience using basic statistics relevant to data science, such as precision, recall, and statistical significance
- Strong understanding of data-quality dimensions, analytical validation, and root-cause analysis
- Demonstrate a high level of English proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in at least one data analysis system
- Knowledge of visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working with Agile tools, such as JIRA
