Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst at NIKE, Inc. Beaverton, OR. Design, develop, and implement new decision support solutions to help the business leverage data for informed decisions; assist the Product Owner with requirements gathering, documentation, and story creation; own data profiling and analysis of raw and curated data; design data flows for financial transactions; develop and test complex business rules; model data to support financial optimization and analytics; build financial analytic capabilities to transform Nike for a mixed retail/wholesale future; contribute to agile product backlog and roadmaps with the product team; telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. with state-specific restrictions.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Information Technology and Analytics
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or an analyst-related occupation
- Cloud Data Platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
- Database systems tools such as SQL Server and Teradata
- Proficiency with the Microsoft SQL Server suite, including SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS
- BI Tools like Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, and Cognos
- ETL Tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, and DAG/Airflow systems
- DevOps tasks like deployment pipelines, automation, and QA to production replication
- AWS services, including EC2, EMR, S3, RDS, and Athena
- Python programming with libraries such as Spark and Pandas
- REST API development
- JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
