Job Summary
Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven analytics for e-commerce; collaborate with Marketing, Product, Merchandising, and Data teams to design and launch experiments; build new metrics and custom reports; develop dashboards and reports; analyze site funnel metrics, customer lifecycle engagement, and marketing performance opportunities; conduct statistically-powered A/B tests using Optimizely and Heap; communicate findings to executives and advise on leveraging analytics to shape digital and customer roadmap; proficient with Tableau and Shopify; translate data into actionable business insights and stories for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
- 3+ years of experience using SQL, R or Python (or equivalent) programming languages required
- Proficiency with advanced graphics/visualization software/packages
- Excellent problem-solving abilities – Capable of independently driving projects with unclear direction, effectively prioritizing tasks, identifying necessary resources, and making informed trade-off decisions
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel
- Experience designing and executing A/B tests with tools like Optimizely and Heap
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
- Strong data storytelling and ability to communicate insights to executives
