Job Summary
Proactively engage with business stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to translate vague questions into measurable analytical problems and hypotheses. Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL, Python, and R to uncover trends, then develop compelling narratives and actionable insights for diverse audiences. Lead technical execution by collaborating with data engineers and scientists, while championing data literacy through workshops and continuous process improvements. Manage expectations and communicate progress effectively throughout the data-driven lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, such as a Senior or Lead Data Analyst, Senior or Lead Business Analyst, or Data Scientist with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and solution delivery
- Proven ability to translate complex business problems into analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
- Experience with scripting languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding in Looker
- Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business problems
- Remain stationary for extended periods
- Ability to communicate information
- Ability to operate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Familiarity with GCP cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with A/B testing design and analysis
- Experience with building and tuning custom AI models for analytics and reporting
- Previous experience in a consulting role (internal or external)
