Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer responsible for supporting and evolving the China data ecosystem. Primary focus on AI & data solutions, data platform engineering (SQL Server, ETL/SSIS, data warehouses), enterprise data integration, BI and analytics (Power BI, BW/EDW/BO), and operations/incident management to ensure data availability, quality, and performance for AI applications and business reporting. Collaborates with analytics and business stakeholders to deploy AI/ML models, optimize data pipelines, and maintain scalable data foundations in a China context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in data engineering / data platform / database administration
- Strong experience with: SQL Server
- ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent)
- Data warehouse concepts
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and data integration
- Preferred Experience with AI/ML data pipelines or AI solution support
- Familiarity with SAP BW / SAP data integration
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
- Soft Skills: Ownership and accountability, independent work in complex environments, communication with technical and business stakeholders
