Job Summary
Rationalize and improve the firm's Power BI reporting environment by identifying reports to elevate, optimize, or retire. Design decision products that help stakeholders understand changes, their significance, and required next actions. Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to practical use cases including forecasting, anomaly detection, and next-best-action recommendations. Build trusted semantic models and curated datasets using governed platform data. Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Compliance, and advisor teams to translate needs into clear opportunities. Develop production-oriented GenAI or retrieval-based solutions with appropriate grounding, evaluation, security, and governance controls. Enable broader AI adoption through demonstrations, workflow improvements, and stakeholder education.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years in data, machine learning or AI engineering or software engineering
- demonstrated experience designing and deploying production-oriented GenAI or ML/AI-enabled solutions
- Advanced experience with Power BI
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Advanced experience with SQL
- Advanced experience with semantic modelling
- Advanced experience with DAX
- Advanced experience with Power Query
- Advanced experience with Power BI Service
- Advanced experience with data visualization best practices
- Strong hands-on experience using Python
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Sound understanding of secure, responsible and governed use of data and AI, including privacy, access control, auditability and appropriate human oversight
- Strong ability to listen deeply, clarify business needs and translate technical work into practical business value
