Job Summary
Senior Cybersecurity Quantum Security & Innovation role focusing on operationalizing quantum security standards and supply chain governance across the enterprise within CSO – Emerging Technology / Quantum Security. Individual contributor with high autonomy, collaborating with standards bodies, procurement, product, and software development teams to address post-quantum cryptography risks and emerging quantum threats. Responsibilities include monitoring and translating quantum standards (e.g., NIST PQC, CISA/NSA guidance, CBOM-related standards) into AT&T security policies and controls, owning the quantum security supply-chain engagement model, evaluating supplier cryptographic maturity, and driving adoption of PQC and crypto-agility in supplier contracts. Also responsible for identifying quantum innovation opportunities, collaborating with R&D and product teams to ideate and launch quantum-secure capabilities, and enabling remediation planning across applications and platforms. Requires office presence of at least 5 days per week at the posted location (Charlotte, NC). Salary range $128,400 – $192,600 USD annually; relocation not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (advanced degree a plus)
- 3+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, security policy, risk, supplier security, security delivery, or related technical roles
- Familiarity with quantum security, post-quantum cryptography, or emerging technology domains
- Familiarity with applying AI or ML techniques in cybersecurity contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, threat hunting, behavioral analytics, or risk scoring)
- Ability to synthesize complex issues, drive decisions, and deliver outcomes in a fast-evolving domain
