Job Summary

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer leading DoD/IC cybersecurity operations, risk management, and RMF authorization across systems operating on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. Responsible for implementing automated security testing, vulnerability management, and risk controls within DevSecOps environments, with expertise in eMASS, Xacta, endpoint security solutions, and CMRS reporting. Strong communication skills required to brief senior Government and military leaders on cybersecurity risks, compliance, and operational readiness. Onsite support in Fort Belvoir, VA; active TS/SCI clearance; Master’s degree with 15+ years of experience and CISSP certification. Deep knowledge of secure enterprise architecture including CDS/C2C, IAM, NDR, EDR, SIEM, and AI/ML-enabled security capabilities. Ability to develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and enterprise architecture plans for Federal IT environments aligned with FISMA and NIST frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Master’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience; additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • CISSP certification required
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions and architectures, including the development of supporting technical documentation, architecture artifacts, network topologies, and system diagrams
  • Deep knowledge of secure enterprise architecture principles and cybersecurity technologies, including Cross Domain Solutions (CDS/C2C), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Detection and Response (NDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), AI/ML-enabled security capabilities, and related applications
  • Proven ability to develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, technical standards, and enterprise architecture plans for Federal IT environments, leveraging effective evaluation methodologies and best practices
  • Strong understanding of Federal cybersecurity requirements and frameworks, including FISMA, NIST SP 800-37 (Risk Management Framework), NIST SP 800-137 (Information Security Continuous Monitoring), and associated governance and compliance processes
