Job Summary
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Enterprise Services in Belfast (Hybrid) focused on managing and optimizing Imperva product platforms for enterprise customers. Responsibilities include maintaining the core Imperva stack, policy tuning to minimize false positives, deployment and setup for new/existing accounts, health monitoring, and incident response with root-cause analysis. Lead advanced troubleshooting within Imperva ecosystems, drive case resolution, collaborate with customers, partners, and global engineering, and contribute to customer success and post-deployment adoption. Requires practical experience in application and data security, Linux system administration, scripting (Bash/Python), OWASP Top Ten knowledge, SQL/MongoDB (plus MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL), and cloud familiarity (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus). Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers. Must hold a valid UK work permit and be willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technology field
- Minimum of 4 years in application or network security within a technical, customer-facing role
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Security
- Applicants must have a valid work permit in the UK
- Availability for rotating on-call roster including occasional paid weekend/holiday shifts
