Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst - USA

Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join Group-IB's Cybercrime Research team. The role focuses on researching major cyber threats impacting the North America region, analyzing threat actors from hacktivists to APTs, leveraging internal and external resources, and contributing to regional threat landscapes. Responsibilities include analyzing IOCs and TTPs, crafting and maintaining detection opportunities within the Threat Intelligence platform, managing threat actor details and OpSec, creating context-rich alerts for customers, researching current threats and industry trends, developing detection content from threat hunts, and developing mitigation strategies. The role emphasizes MITRE ATT&CK alignment, OSINT from the dark web and trusted sources, and collaboration with stakeholders. Required skills include a passion for cybercrime investigation, knowledge of North American threat landscape, understanding of global/local threats (ransomware, banking trojans, remote access trojans, fraudsters), threat actor profiling, dark web ecosystems, scripting (Python, Bash), networking fundamentals, OS architectures, and experience with VirusTotal, Urlscan, Shodan, RiskIQ. Ability to work a flexible schedule and authorisation to work in the US is noted; certifications (CEH, CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, etc.) are highlighted as valued. Location is remote.
