Job Summary
Analyze user requirements and concept of operations documents to develop secure system specifications and architecture aligned with JSIG security controls. Provide technical direction for engineering, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems across VMware, Linux, and Windows environments. Formulate security-focused requirements, conduct feasibility studies for new cyber tools, and guide development through the preparation of system engineering management plans and integration test plans. Communicate technical security considerations with program personnel, government stakeholders, and engineers while participating in trade analyses and analysis of alternatives to optimize lifecycle operations. Ensure configuration control of evolving systems, serve as a technical member of the Configuration Control Board, and utilize validated models and prototyping to mitigate technical risk. Requires Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, a Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of Systems/Cyber Engineering experience. Required Qualifications
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Engineering Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of Systems/Cyber Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity, with a focus on implementing technical security controls and secure architecture
- Strong familiarity with the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and implementing technical security controls within a Special Access Program (SAP) or highly classified environment
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or CASP+) or IASAE Level II certification
- Min of 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA; an additional 4 years of relevant Cyber/Systems Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Must possess a DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or CASP+) or IASAE Level II certification prior to starting
