Job Summary
Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Moderna focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM) using CyberArk across cloud and on-prem environments. Owns CyberArk platform configuration, administration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization; collaborates with engineering, infrastructure, governance, and business stakeholders to design secure, scalable PAM solutions; leads onboarding of privileged accounts, develops architecture and operational documentation, and guides integration approaches. Will work with DevOps, security, and IT teams to enforce PAM standards, support disaster recovery and capacity planning, and stay current with industry trends and evolving identity security practices. Role emphasizes engineering SME leadership for PAM, cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to Moderna’s IAM strategy with automation and AI-driven improvements. The team supports 70/30 in-office collaboration and values security-first mindset for patients and operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in technology
- 4-6+ years in identity and access management (IAM)
- 3+ years with CyberArk and Privileged Cloud technologies
- Hands-on with CyberArk administration and configuration
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in English
