Job Summary
Senior CX/UX Researcher lead the design and execution of complex user research studies to uncover insights that drive business value and improve the user experience. Responsibilities include merging qualitative and quantitative data, synthesizing findings into executive-ready insights, and shaping cross-functional product roadmaps. Partner with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate research into strategic design and product decisions; create and evolve personas/archetypes and journey maps; document insights in a central repository; and champion adoption of AI/agentic methodologies across the organization. The role supports hybrid collaboration with eight in-office days per month and involves presenting research to senior stakeholders and executives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and product direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or related field or equivalent relevant experience (advanced UX certification or training)
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years in a User Research role for digital solutions
- Experience designing and leading complex, multi-phase user research studies aligned with business/product strategy
- Advanced data analysis skills (qualitative and quantitative)
- Ability to prepare sophisticated, clear, persuasive research reports for diverse stakeholders (including executives)
- Presentation skills to communicate findings to cross-functional teams
- Cross-functional leadership to influence designers, PMs, engineers
- Knowledge of AI, agentic workflows, and their application in research/product development
- Experience evaluating emerging user interaction patterns and impacting product strategy in AI contexts
- Experience in a B2B/enterprise environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of Tax & Accounting solutions and customer workflows
- Familiarity with user research platforms such as Great Question or UserZoom
- Experience collecting/reporting user data from analytics tools like Pendo
