Senior Customer Support Engineer- Analytical Labs

Job Summary
Install, maintain, validate, and repair Thermo Vanquish LC systems and Mass Spectrometers, primarily Orbitrap platforms, while serving as the primary support for the Site Leader. Provide troubleshooting, repair, and qualification services for customers including warranty work, and deliver customer familiarization for instrument operation and maintenance. Partner with clients to understand analytical workflows, enhance LAMP program offerings, and communicate service offerings including training, software, and field upgrades. Perform timely data uploads/downloads to ensure system integrity, maintain assigned assets and inventory, and report improvement opportunities via the quality notification process. Complete all administrative tasks including time reporting and training while adhering to health, safety, and security protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Extremely high skillset in Reverse phase and Normal Phase chromatography
- Subject matter expert in Waters Acquity and Alliance platforms
- Bachelor's degree in applied science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience
- 5 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
- Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience
- 7 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
- High School Diploma
- 10+ years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to travel by air, vehicle and/or other means of transportation as business requires
- Vendor issued certification on relevant laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer's site safety code
- Experience with TSQ's (triple quads), ISQ's (single quads), and Stellar MS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft 365
- Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software
- Other analytical platforms
