Job Summary
Senior Customer Support Consultant in Mexico City focused on client-facing risk analytics and training for financial clients. Responsibilities include researching and responding to pricing, risk analysis, attribution, and risk modeling questions; delivering structured and custom training; helping translate risk analytics strategies into SimCorp products; supporting Sales with proof-of-concept analyses and product demonstrations; providing expert guidance during evaluations of software products; aiding client retention and new business development; and collaborating with senior Client Services staff to respond to advanced client inquiries. Required qualifications include a Master’s in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or 1-2 years of related experience, strong English communication, knowledge of multi-asset class securities, understanding of greeks, VaR, and stress testing, a solid math/statistics foundation, coding experience in R/Python (Java a plus), and a proactive, client-focused problem-solver mindset. The role offers a hybrid Workplace model based in Mexico City and an attractive salary package.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or 1-2 years of relevant experience with a related degree
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Knowledge with or experience with multi-asset class securities (equity, fixed income, FX, and derivatives)
- Understanding of risk management concepts such as greeks, VaR, and stress testing
- Strong mathematical and statistical foundation; familiarity with quantitative methods in market theory and risk analytics/portfolio construction
- Proficiency in coding languages (R / Python preferred; Java a plus)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and client-teaching orientation
- Hybrid workplace model and base in Mexico City
