Job Summary

Senior Customer Success Manager role focused on mentoring and guiding customers through implementation strategies for Sonatype Nexus Platform, supporting onboarding and faster adoption, building trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, and driving renewal and expansion outcomes. Responsibilities include identifying gaps in the customer experience, collaborating cross-functionally to address needs, sharing customer insights to influence product improvements and roadmaps, using tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, and analytics to understand health and opportunities, and coaching junior team members. The role requires a strong technical foundation, ability to communicate value to both technical and executive audiences, and experience with enterprise customers. Ideally 7–10 years of related experience with US-based residency and sponsorship-free work authorization.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills able to engage technical users and business stakeholders
  • Experience building, delivering, securing, or supporting software in modern development environments
  • Broad knowledge of current SDLC and tooling used by development organizations
  • Well-honed project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into customer value, business impact, and measurable outcomes
  • Consultative mindset to influence, advise, and guide customers toward better long-term results
  • Proactive ownership, transparency, curiosity, and customer-first approach
  • Experience with enterprise customers, internal stakeholders, or end users in client-facing roles
  • Comfort learning new platforms, APIs, integrations, and implementation patterns
  • Ability to identify risks and expansion opportunities and drive deeper adoption
  • Ideally 7–10 years of related experience; flexible for strong related experience
  • Ability to work across Central and Eastern time zones
