Job Summary
Senior Customer Service Representative – Ocean Shipping role focusing on identifying and managing shipment exceptions for export bookings, cross-functional communication to resolve issues, and validation of shipment documents for regulatory adherence. The position involves direct work with customers on discrepancies and exceptions, handling ad hoc projects, and leveraging knowledge of ocean, terminal, and rail operations. Preferred skills include knowledge of customer service processes, exception handling, US regulatory transportation and IMDG requirements, attention to detail, and strong verbal/written communication. Willingness to work on-site in Mount Pleasant, SC with standard business hours and a background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum 2 years of relevant working experience OR No degree and a minimum of 4 years' relevant working experience
- Experience in problem resolution
- Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
