Job Summary
Manage account portfolios and prepare sales plans to deliver volume and value goals. Build relationships with customers at all levels, including executives, to drive collaboration and mutual growth. Lead negotiations for long-term contract agreements while adhering to regional guidelines and legal requirements. Manage account teams to foster continuous improvement and information sharing, and mentor less experienced sellers. Assist stakeholders in understanding financial implications of decisions and serve on cross-functional product and marketing teams. Summarize innovation gaps based on customer feedback to align marketing and technical teams. Represent "One Dow" to customers through sustainability, inclusion, and innovation efforts. Requires seven years of experience and U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military degree equivalence at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience
- The ability to work legally in the United States
- No visa sponsorship/support is available, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
- Strong business acumen and ability to clearly communicate financial trade offs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action and negotiating skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Leadership skills to work cross-functionally and ability to successfully drive initiatives/issues through influence
- Project management skills, business acumen, and strategic / analytical thinking capability
