Job Summary
As a Senior Customer Insights Researcher at Dow Jones, the role involves conducting customer and market research to inform business case development and ensure that customer needs are prioritized in decision-making. Responsibilities include undertaking end-to-end research projects, developing strong relationships within various teams, managing project timelines, and synthesizing insights effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, proficient communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. A minimum of 4 years in market research with experience in B2B settings is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years' direct experience in the market research industry, in-house or agency-side.
- Solid experience of customer and market research including project management and delivering credible and actionable insights.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong presentation skills, passion for storytelling, and the ability to make complex data easy to understand.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of conducting research and managing research teams in B2B markets, ideally within the media, news, information & data sectors.
- Hands on qualitative researcher with experience of designing discussion guides within a B2B setting.
- Familiarity with using Qualtrics (or similar leading platforms) to design, set up and launch surveys.
- Proficiency with Google's suite products (Google Sheets, Google Slides)
