Job Summary
Join NVIDIA as a Senior Custom Circuits Timing Engineer, where you will participate in the design and timing closure of custom circuit macros using your expertise in deep submicron technologies. The role requires a solid understanding of timing analysis and closure processes, alongside collaboration with diverse teams to drive innovation in circuit design. Key responsibilities include developing timing models, validating designs using SPICE simulations, and working on ECO implementations. Applicants should possess significant experience with transistor level STA tools and a strong grasp of circuit timing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience for Masters
- 8+ years for Bachelors in custom circuit timing analysis/closure
- Expertise in industry standard transistor level STA tools such as NanoTime
- Solid experience in timing constraints generation & management
- Basic understanding of transistor-level circuits and SPICE simulations
- Expertise in analysis and fixing of timing paths through ECOs
- Knowledge in process variation effect modeling
- Familiarity with clocking specs such as jitter, IR drop, crosstalk
- Solid understanding of timing models and .libs usage in NanoTime and PrimeTime
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
