Job Summary
Senior CT Technologist at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage (Full-Time, Night Shift, 1.0 FTE). Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating CT department activities, developing and implementing CT protocols to ensure ALARA and high image quality, coordinating protocol installation across equipment, and ensuring doses align with ACR recommendations. This is a float position supporting staffing needs in other departments; role requires leadership experience and collaboration with Medical Director and Physicist. Requires graduate of Radiologic Technology program, CT certification, and continuing education including BLS within 30 days of hire; 2 years post-CT certification experience required, with preferred 5 years of CT experience and 1 year of leadership. Relocation benefits available and a $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified as a CT Technologist
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or Upon hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years of Post CT Certification Experience
