Job Summary
Senior CSA Cost Estimator responsible for preparing, reviewing, and presenting detailed Civil, Structural, Architectural CAPEX estimates with an EPC/EPCM approach for diverse projects (Oil, Gas, LNG, Chemicals, Semiconductors, Manufacturing, Datacentres, Combined Cycle, Carbon Capture, Mining, Nuclear, Motorsways, and Large Infrastructure). Leads quantity take-offs (MTO/BOQ), develops all class of estimates from Conceptual to Execute, analyzes material and labor costs, maintains historical cost databases, and supports estimate reporting and reviews. Coaches and mentors junior estimators, ensures estimates align with market trends, and delivers basis documentation and presentations for reviews. Requires proficiency in leading estimating software (Aspen, Candy, Heavy Bid, Timberline, Cleopatra) and in AI/Power BI/Excel; strong ability to communicate with project teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Engineering degree
- 15+ years of industry experience
- 7+ years on job site with exposure towards developing cost estimates
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (Aspen, Candy, Heavy Bid, Timberline, Cleopatra, etc)
- Understanding of Stickbuilt vs Modular, Greenfield, and Brownfield Execution Scopes
- Experience with EPC/EPCM estimating methods and classification levels
- Proficiency in AI, Microsoft Power BI, Office, Excel; strong communication skills
