Job Summary
Senior CRM Engineering Manager to lead the CRM and Marketing Engineering function through a major platform transformation (Siebel to Salesforce), delivering reliable, high-quality CRM/marketing platforms with strong DevOps and Agile practices. You will line-manage a team of engineers, ensure data integrity and excellent user experience, collaborate with product, partners, and stakeholders, drive platform availability and resilience, and guide delivery from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions including Salesforce and Adobe Campaign. The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and strategic delivery in a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment, aligned with Cancer Research UK's engineering strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience transforming, modernising, and integrating CRM platforms in hybrid on-premise and cloud/SaaS environments (ideally Siebel to Salesforce)
- Proven track record of managing and transforming enterprise-grade platforms
- Knowledge of engineering best practices, DevOps culture, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Strong people management and coaching skills, with ability to lead teams through change and ambiguity
- Experience with marketing technologies and Adobe products
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to senior leadership and stakeholders
