Senior Critical Facilities Technician

Job Summary
Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems, monitoring power, cooling, and environmental conditions while troubleshooting mechanical and electrical support systems. Lead the CFT team to deliver total availability by assisting with preventive maintenance inspections, executing corrective issues, and managing workflow tasks to ensure timely resolution. Provide hands-on training for junior technicians, contribute to CMMS content development, and audit work-orders to maintain documentation accuracy. Respond to emergencies, participate in facility rounds, and oversee contractor access while adhering to strict safety laws and change control activities. Work shifts to support 24x7 data center operation with flexibility to cover other shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
Desired Qualifications
- Prior military or technical school training
- 3+ years experience in Mission Critical Environments
- Electrical or mechanical licensure
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl using both arms and legs
- Ability to pick-up minimum 60 lbs.
- Ability to reach with both hands and arms
- Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects
- Ability to smell, talk and hear
- Ability to use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel, and type
- Ability to see at close and distance ranges and the ability to see and correctly distinguish color
- Ability to work inside and outside
