Job Summary
Senior Crew Chief oversees staking well locations, surveying, establishing section corners, and staking access roads and pads, including slope staking. Provides daily oversight of field staff, ensures quality and safety standards, maintains equipment, performs field data management and note reduction, and interfaces with clients and public landowners as a company representative. Requires strong math, geometry, trigonometry skills, knowledge of oil & gas surveying, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in variable field conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Background in math, geometry, and trigonometry required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level II Crew Chief position
- Valid driver's license required
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) must meet company requirements throughout employment
- Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas surveying industry
- Proficient math and computer skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively as a team contributor
- Must participate in the company drug and alcohol compliance program
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Working Conditions: outdoors/indoors, extreme weather, ATV operation
