Job Summary
Lead programming, testing, and deployment of control systems on Crestron, Extron, and AMX platforms while designing intuitive touchpanel user interfaces and developing custom modules and automation logic. Configure and validate DSP platforms, review AV drawings and signal flow diagrams, and perform in-house system testing, on-site commissioning, and verification. Troubleshoot complex integrated AV, control, and network issues and support project teams through deployment and close-out. Maintain programming standards, documentation, and version control. Requires 5-7+ years of hands-on AV programming experience, Harman Certified Control Professional and Extron GC Pro certifications, and Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or Engineering. Based in Cerritos, California, with competitive salary, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and travel to job sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience
- 5-7+ years of hands‐on Crestron or AMX programming experience in commercial AV environments
- Strong experience with AV control systems, video conferencing platforms, switching hardware, AV‐over‐IP, and DSP configuration/calibration
- Deep understanding of audio DSP setup, tuning, and optimization
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex AV, control, and network‐related issues
- Harman Certified Control Professional (CP)
- Extron GC Pro
- Crestron and/or AMX programming certifications
Desired Qualifications
- CTS or CTS‐D
- Advanced Crestron, Extron, or AMX certifications
- Networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+)
