Job Summary
Senior Credit Workout Specialist to manage delinquent portfolios and serve as modification/rewrite underwriting resource. Responsibilities include managing early to late delinquency stages, negotiating payment arrangements, assessing borrower financial condition and collateral, initiating modifications or collateral enhancements, underwriting loan modifications (amount increases, rate adjustments, collateral pledges), re-underwriting borrower profiles with credit bureau data and cash flow analysis, coordinating with legal/servicing on documentation and UCC filings, and ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory requirements. Strong emphasis on credit judgment, collateral awareness, customer communication, and collaboration with the collections team to optimize yield and risk-adjusted returns. Requires experience in equipment finance or asset-based lending, proficiency with loan servicing platforms and MS Office, and a degree in Finance/Business (CLFP a plus). Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, or asset-based lending with direct exposure to collections, loan workouts, or portfolio management
- Demonstrated credit underwriting experience including the ability to analyze borrower financials, interpret credit reports, evaluate collateral, and structure loan terms
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; CLFP designation a plus
