Job Summary
Senior Credit Officer overseeing the accounts receivable function, posting receipts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely recording of payments. Responsibilities include managing AR processes, preparing weekly/monthly reports, performing credit checks, reviewing customer rebates, achieving KPIs and DSO targets, and handling aged debtors. Strong communication, accounting/tax concepts understanding, team leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position
- Clear and professional communicator with good phone and email manner
- General understanding of accounting and tax concepts
- Able to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Ability to manage and lead a team
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
