Job Summary
Manage high-end global debt collection for complex key and medium-sized pharmaceutical accounts, including proactive verbal outreach for payment projections within 10 days of billing. Coordinate prompt resolution of customer queries across departments to ensure settlement on due dates while maintaining a 96%+ collection target and <0.4% aging beyond 60 days. Support master data, billing, and admin teams to verify payment terms and invoice accuracy, ensuring the SAP Collection Interface is updated with latest collection notes and escalation points. Highlight late payment risks to the Credit Manager for potential Global Risk credit assessments and update EMEA management reports on cash projections and tail-end debt.
Required Qualifications
- Degree Level Education
- 7+ years - Senior Credit & Collection Specialist (Account Handler) experience
- Fluent in English and German
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Great negotiator
- Confident, friendly but assertive when required
- Target driven
- High work-rate
- Able to consistently perform above targets set by Credit Manager
- Cover a ledger of 1500+ invoices
- Prioritize and take responsibility for own workload
- Cover in absence of team
- Work on own initiative
- Good analytical/problem solving skills
- Excellent time management & organization skills
- Motivated and able to demonstrate initiative
- Competent in Microsoft Office packages specifically outlook, excel, and word
- Previous use of SAP (mandatory)
- Zero tolerance policy for candidate fraud (honesty and professionalism)
